Graduate Visits
Arcadia offers many in-person and virtual graduate information sessions throughout the year. Graduate campus tours occur on Mondays and Wednesdays at 3:00 pm.

As an admitted student, there are events designated specifically for you! You’ll have access to exclusive visit events designed to give you a deeper look at Arcadia. These experiences highlight student life, academic opportunities, and your journey ahead as a future Knight.
Additional Visit Options
Group Visits
School and community programs can introduce groups of prospective students (8 to 50) to Arcadia’s campus, programs, student life opportunities, and admissions process.
Availability must start at least three weeks after submitting your request.
Group visits are available select Tuesdays & Thursdays at 10 a.m. during the fall semester.
Middle school groups must be accompanied by at least one chaperone per 10 students at all times, and high school groups must be accompanied by at least one chaperone per 15 students.
If you wish to cancel your visit after receiving a confirmation, please email us at visit@arcadia.edu at least 72 hours prior.
Campus Visit Grants
The Arcadia University Campus Visit Grant helps defray the costs of a campus visit. To be eligible, you must have attended an undergraduate admissions event and live at least 250 miles (one-way) from campus. See application for deadlines.
Eligible expenses include economy travel by train, plane, bus, and car (mileage calculated via Google Maps) at the current University reimbursement rate and one standard hotel room for one night.
The maximum reimbursement is a one-time, nonrenewable $500 grant.
Original, itemized receipts must be sent with the application.
The reduction applies for one visit.
Students who receive full-tuition scholarships are not eligible.

Do I need to register in advance for a Campus Tour?
Yes, advance registration helps us to prepare for your tour of campus and allows us to create a more personalized experience. Registration closes 2 days prior to the visit date. Walk-ins will be accommodated based on availability.
Are campus tours offered year-round?
Campus tours are typically offered throughout the year except on major holidays and during University breaks. Check the visit calendar for exact availability.
What should I wear on a Campus Tour?
Dress comfortably and wear walking shoes. Tours involve outdoor walking, so check the weather and plan accordingly.
Is Arcadia’s campus accessible for individuals with disabilities?
Yes, Arcadia is committed to providing accessible visit accommodations and experiences. Please let us know about any accommodations needed when you register.

During Your Visit
What can I expect during my visit to campus?
Guests attending an Information Session and Campus Tour will first join a session led by an Admissions staff member, followed by a student-led campus tour. Guests attending a Campus Tour only will explore campus highlights with a student guide.
Where should I go when I arrive?
You will check in at Grey Towers Castle. Guests may park in the Castle lot (look for the Admissions Visitors signs), and no parking pass is required. An event pass will be emailed to you 24 hours before your visit. Please have it ready, either on your phone or printed, as it will be needed for check-in.
How long does a Campus Tour last?
If you are attending an Info Session & Campus Tour, the entire visit will last about an hour and a half. If you are only taking a Campus Tour, that will take about an hour.
Can I explore the surrounding area after my visit?
Absolutely. Arcadia is located in Glenside, PA, a charming town just outside Philadelphia. Our vibrant campus life is closely connected with the Glenside community, creating a welcoming environment for students and visitors alike. Visitors enjoy exploring nearby shops, restaurants, cafés, and historic sites.
Travel & Parking
What’s the best way to travel to Arcadia?
- By plane: Philadelphia International Airport is the closest airport to campus. You can take SEPTA Regional Rail, rent a car, or take a taxi or Uber from the airport.
- By train: Glenside Station is about a 15-minute walk or short bus ride from campus. SEPTA Route 22 and 77 buses stop nearby every 20 minutes and cost $2.25. Uber and taxi services are also available.
- By bus: Travelers taking Amtrak, Bolt Bus, or Megabus can arrive at 30th Street Station in Philadelphia and connect to Glenside Station for easy access to campus.
Where can I park on campus?
- Entering from Easton Road: Turn left at the end of the driveway, take the second right, and follow signs to Visitor Parking.
- Entering from Church Road (Route 73): Follow the campus drive around, using signs for Grey Towers Castle. Visitor Parking is available in these areas.
