Bachelor of Fine Arts in Painting
Owner and designer of Nutmeg Cake Design, an artisan wedding cake bakery
Philadelphia, Pa.
Professors Betsey Batchelor and Mike DeLuca were integral parts of my Art and Design experience. They both created a supportive, warm, and enthusiastic learning environment, and their discussions on color theory, texture, perspective, and composition contribute to the visual language I use in my design process. Their dedication to students was always apparent.
Creating a career from your interests isn’t always easy, but it will guarantee that you’ll make a true investment in your work. Success is defined differently by everyone. I’ve found success in the satisfaction of the work I create for my clients, along with the empowerment of forging my path each day.
The business is constantly changing and evolving to suit the needs of both our clients and my shifting goals. As we’re able to grow and add more creative team members, we’ll continue to focus on providing an exceptional wedding experience, while also adding more pre-designed dessert options available for order.
Creating a career from your interests isn’t always easy, but it will guarantee that you’ll make a true investment in your work.
