Write an African folktale and send it to us for assessment. The length should be between 500 and 1,000 words. Most of the time, African folktales involve animals as characters with a tortoise, spider, or rabbit as the “trickster.” African folktales always carry a moral lesson for the audience, unless they are purely for entertainment. The Humanities Research Lab (2035 Church Rd.) will host bi-weekly informal tea and coffee meetups for faculty and staff to discuss teaching methods and share teaching ideas. We will meet every-other-Wednesday from 2:45-3:50 at the HRL (2035 Church Rd.) starting on January 22 and ending on April 29. It will be informal, come and go as you please!
