Biography
Alison Rogers serves as Associate General Counsel at Arcadia University, supporting the University’s academic, administrative, and operational units with particular emphasis on regulatory compliance, policy development, and risk oversight. Her work encompasses a wide range of legal and operational matters, including higher education regulation, facilities and leasing, vendor and consultant agreements, investigations, and cross-departmental compliance coordination.
Prior to joining Arcadia, Alison practiced law in New York, Washington, D.C., Maryland, Florida, and Pennsylvania, representing individuals and organizations in complex legal matters including in higher education and nonprofit settings. Her prior practice informs a pragmatic, hands-on approach to institutional legal advising, particularly in navigating novel issues, managing risk, and supporting strategic decision-making.
Alison received her Bachelor of Arts from Amherst College and her Juris Doctor from the University of Michigan Law School. She studied international diplomacy at Boğaziçi University in Turkey. While in law school, she served as an editor of the Michigan Journal of Race & Law and interned with the NAACP Legal Defense Fund and the U.S. Department of Justice. Alison is certified in Crisis Intervention Training and in Trial Advocacy by the National Board of Trial Advocacy. She teaches employment law as an Adjunct Professor of Law at Wilmington University. In her free time, she enjoys hitting jumpers and playing the trumpet.
