Biography
- Areas Of Focus
My scholarship focuses on developing evidence-based depression and suicide prevention programs for youth and families. Specifically, I am working on developing programming for parents to help support their kids with key life transitions that tend to promote stress, uncertainty and upset within families. By providing emotional support, education, and skills, we can prevent depression and suicide resulting in long-term gains across domains. With over 15 years of experience in research and direct clinical practice, I’m thrilled to share my expertise in psychopathology and evidence-based care with aspiring providers in the Master’s of Counseling program. If you are interested in learning more about these topics and working with me towards these goals, please stop by and say hello!
