Kevin Glaccum has been teaching at Arcadia University since 2008, and currently serves as Interim Artistic Director. He has directed over a dozen shows here, and teaches Business of Theater, Directing and a First Year Seminar.
Kevin has been an active member of the Philadelphia Theater community for more than 25 years. He was involved with Azuka Theatre from 1999-2023, serving as Producing Artistic Director of the company where he produced 50 productions, directing 19 of those (eight of which were World Premieres). In addition, Kevin has worked at Arden Theater Company, Act II Playhouse, The Philadelphia Fringe Festival, 1812 Productions among others.
In addition to his artistic work, Kevin is a founding Board Member (and former Board President) of Theatre Philadelphia the organization behind The Barrymore Awards. Kevin was a peer review panelist for the Philadelphia Cultural Fund for ten years, and has served in a similar capacity for the Pennsylvania Council on the Arts. He is a recipient of an Independence Foundation Fellowship in the Arts, a Member of Lincoln Center Directors’ Lab and an alumnus of Atlantic Theater Company Summer Intensive and La Mama Directors and Playwrights symposiums in Umbria, Italy.
