Sharonda is a certified physician assistant (PA-C) and assistant professor in the physician assistant program. She graduated from North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University with a BS in Mechanical Engineering and then went on to graduate from Stanford University in Palo Alto, CA with a MS in Biomechanical Engineering. After graduation she worked as a design engineer with Medtronic Sofamor Danek in Spinal Devices and Eaton in Electrical Devices. In 2015 she made a career change and pursued a career in medicine. She graduated from Wake Forest University in Winston-Salem, NC, Physician Assistant Program in 2017 and entered into a PA Residential program with Veteran Affairs and then into Behavioral Health in the Piedmont, NC area before joining Arcadia University.
