Commencement 2021 Information

By Daniel DiPrinzio | March 12, 2021
Arcadia is eagerly anticipating our 2021 Commencement ceremonies. This is one of our most time-honored traditions and the culmination of our students’ experience at Arcadia. In working with the faculty, staff, and officers for the Class of 2021, Arcadia is pleased to announce information on our Commencement ceremonies to help our graduates and their families in their planning.

Arcadia’s Commencement is planned for May 20 and May 21 in smaller ceremonies, by program, and socially distanced on Haber Green. Information on ceremonies will be shared directly with students and families, including a form for graduates to register their intent to attend.

The ability to host ceremonies in person on the Green is contingent on several factors, including the continued mitigation of the spread of COVID within the Arcadia community after next week’s spring wellness break, continued adherence to University and federal and county health and safety guidelines, vaccine efficacy, and transitioning to Operational Tier 2 Status.

Information about Commencement attire and cords, sashes, and order forms will be sent to students directly via email. More information is available at arcadia.edu/commencement

Throughout our graduation planning and celebrations, we ask that all University community members respect the campus status and continue to help to mitigate the spread of COVID. All plans are subject to change and are based on necessary and mandated public health mitigation measures.
