The faculty of the library are available to partner with faculty in course development and creating high-quality online learning resources that foster inquiry and engagement. Below are a few places to begin, the best being getting in touch with your librarian!
Work with your librarian to help you make your syllabus live with links to all relevant online sources with assistance identifying, evaluating, purchasing, and providing access to course materials for instruction, research, or assignments. This includes securing electronic access to important course materials or looking for new content such as ebooks, streaming videos, or other resources.
Librarians can also help in the use of interlibrary loan (ILL) and identifying open educational resources (OER).
Have your librarian develop a live or recorded instruction session about any part of the research process or use of any online resource.
Librarians can also collaborate on creating assignments that address research and information literacy learning outcomes.
Your librarian can collaborate with you to create a custom online subject or course guide for your course that connects students directly with the resources
You can also add your librarian to your Canvas courses to help students with research and answer questions quickly
All librarians are available to provide one-on-one and group research assistance to faculty and students
The library is here to help with copyright concerns as you move your courses online.
