Club Recognition Process
Want to start a new club or bring back an old one? It’s easier than you think! Here’s what you’ll need:
- A president, vice president, treasurer, and five students (including yourself) who are ready to join.
- A faculty or staff advisor to guide your group.
- Your club’s name, mission statement, and a quick idea of what you want to do.
Once you’ve got that, reach out to the Student Government Organization (sgo@arcadia.edu) with your info. They’ll help you write your club’s constitution and invite you to a meeting to pitch your idea. If your club gets the green light from the House of Representatives, you’re official!
Club Benefits
Organizations receive a budget from the SGO to plan social, educational, and service-related initiatives for the campus community. Recognized organizations can reserve space, participate in activities and resource fairs.
