Dr. Rebecca Craik, Professor and Chair of Physical Therapy, is this year's recipient of the 2011 John H.P. Maley Award for Outstanding Contributions to Leadership in Research from the Section on Research within the American Physical Therapy Association.
Craik will receive this honor on Feb. 11 in New Orleans. This award recognizes outstanding leadership in research over a sustained period of time, as well as sustained contact with and interest in research in physical therapy.
For more than 30 years, Craik has dedicated her physical therapy career to improving patient outcomes by serving multiple roles, including clinician, researcher and mentor. Craik is the Editor-in-Chief of the journal Physical Therapy.
Craik served previously as the President and Secretary of the Section on Research.
