Joe Zaweski, assistant professor in the physician assistant program at Arcadia University’s Christiana campus, was recently appointed Chair of the Competency Based Faculty Development Task Force of the Physician Assistant Education Association (PAEA).

As chair of this national task force, Zaweski will help craft competencies for PA faculty and educators, investigate the impact of these competencies on promotion and tenure of PA faculty, and identify faculty development products for the PAEA.

Additionally, Zaweski was reappointed to a second two-year term on the PAEA Conference Council to promote the excellence of PA education through the ongoing professional development and networking of PA educators by means of PAEA’s National Education Forum and the American Association of Physician Assistants Annual Conference.
