Dr. Moore Discusses Research on Air with “Life Simplified”

Dr. Katherine Moore presents at SXSW on how technology might assist human attention in the future.

Dr. Katherine Moore, assistant professor of Psychology and head of the Attention, Memory, and Cognition laboratory, was featured in the Bangor Daily News  “Life Simplified” a news column and radio show for her work concerning the limits of attention. During her interview, Dr. Moored focused on what happens in the brain when people are texting or talking while driving, and why these distractions remove the driver’s attention from the road.  

Previously, Dr. Moore spoke about her research at SXSW, and discussed how these limitations might be overcome with technology.
