Ready to take the first step into building your career? Join representatives from some of the nation’s leading business, finance, and technological companies at the Knights Networking Series’s Business and Tech Night on Oct. 26 at 6 p.m. in the Great Room.

Hosted by the Office of Career Education, the event will feature a wide range of employers, including Ditech Financial LLC, Chestnut Hill Business District, Aflac, DFC Global Corp, New Penn Financial, SEI – Investment Manager Services, U.S. Department of Justice, and Vanguard.

“I think the smaller networking events work better because you have more time to sit down with the person who is there and more of a chance to leave a strong impression,” said Natalie O’Reilly ’16, who found her current job with Vanguard at a previous Knights Networking event.

This event follows Career Education’s Life Sciences and Healthcare Industry networking night, which welcomed representatives from AstraZeneca, Main Line Rehab, DaVita, Frontage Laboratories, University of the Sciences, Temple University, and other well-known organizations on Oct. 8. In addition to mingling with industry experts, students had the opportunity to develop their networking skills and explore a variety of job opportunities.

“I was thrilled by the employers’ feedback on how smart, engaging, and polished our students were during the networking night,” said Marissa Deitch, director of Career Education. “Students, employers, and grad school representatives easily engaged throughout the event, learning about one another and making connections through small group conversations.”

Networking is still how over 70 percent of people find employment opportunities. Isn’t it time you found your opportunity? Register today for the Business and Tech Night event.
