Women’s History Month Highlighted by Music and Professional Panel

Arcadia will host several events to honor and celebrate women throughout the month of March.

Thursday, March 1

Ladies Only Open Mic Night

6 to 8 p.m., Grey Towers Castle Rose & Mirror Rooms

All women of Arcadia are invited to share their many talents during a relaxing kick-off to Women's History Month. Light refreshments will be served. Contact Institutional Diversity for more information.

Friday, March 2

First Fridays in the Castle

Noon to 1 p.m., Grey Towers Castle Mirror Room

The concert will feature the “Strings Fantastique” quartet, with faculty musicians Valerie Levicoff on violin and Dan Kujala on cello and guest artists Lisa Lynch-Shumas on violin and Karol Mannherz on viola, performing works of women composers Dame Ethel Smyth and Fanny Hensel Mendelssohn. Panel of Asian Women Professionals

4 to 6 p.m., Grey Towers Castle Mirror Room
