Dr. Jodi Bornstein, associate professor of Education; Melissa Correll, Information Literacy and Instruction librarian and liaison to the School of Education; and Mekenzie Voglino ’18, graduate student in Literacy Studies and English as a Second Language (ESL), co-presented at the Pennsylvania Association of Colleges and Teacher Educators (PAC-TE) annual fall conference, "Listening, Learning, and Leading: Advancing the Voices of Teacher Education," from Oct. 23 to 25 in Harrisburg, Pa.
Their session, “Moving from our Problem to our Passion: Integrating Project-Based Learning in the Teacher Education Classroom,” highlighted the ongoing work of students in the course “Designing Learning Environments and the Curriculum Lab Advisory Group.” Using theories of engagement, learning spaces, and space, students worked on redesigning course curriculums for the School of Education.
In addition to presenting, Dr. Bornstein served as PAC-TE conference chair.
