Q&A with the Class of 2021

May 20, 2021 Caitlin Burns

Arcadia University graduate Lauren Dougherty

Major and minor: Bachelor of Arts in Education, specializing in PreK-4 Elementary and PreK-12 Special Education

Favorite Arcadia memory: My favorite memories are the ones I made with my teammates on and off the field. More specifically some of our bus rides and locker room talks will go down in history.

Involvement on campus: forward on the field hockey team; Orientation Leader; President of Student Athlete Advisory Committee; President of Newman Club; President of Education Club; Kappa Delta Pi; game staff; and a member of the Community Civic Engagement Center.

Advice to your first-year self: Take some time to soak it all in.

After Arcadia: Arcadia provided me with endless opportunities to grow both in my career but also in my own personal life. The opportunities I was able to become involved in have allowed me to grow mentally, physically, and spiritually.
