Board of Trustees Member Ashish Parmar Rings Nasdaq Closing Bell in Times Square

Ashish Parmar, a member of Arcadia’s Board of Trustees, rang the Nasdaq closing bell with The National Association of Corporate Directors (NACD) on Aug. 25.

Ashish Parmar, a member of Arcadia’s Board of Trustees, joined The National Association of Corporate Directors (NACD) in Times Square on Aug. 25. to ring the Nasdaq closing bell. The ceremony at the Nasdaq MarketSite celebrated NACD’s milestone of reaching 1,000 certified directors.

NACD certified directors are committed to ensuring the highest standards of leadership in the boardrooms of the organizations they serve. “I am thrilled to be part of this growing group of distinguished directors committed to boardroom excellence,” Parmar said.

Elected to the Board of Trustees in September 2021, Parmar is the senior vice president and chief information officer of Tapestry, Inc., a New York-based house of global modern luxury lifestyle brands whose portfolio includes Coach, Kate Spade, and Stuart Weitzman. He also serves on the Board of Directors of LL Flooring (Lumber Liquidators) and is a member of the New York CIO advisory board, Evanta New York CIO governing body, SAP Fashion Council, and Society of Information Management New Jersey.
