Arcadia Physical Therapy Remains #1 in Philadelphia Region in 2026 U.S. News & World Report Rankings
Education and Public Health programs also among 2026 Best Graduate Schools rankings.
Arcadia University’s Physical Therapy program reigns as the top Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) program in the Philadelphia region, according to the 2026 U.S. News & World Report Best Graduate Schools rankings. The program, housed in Arcadia’s College of Health Sciences, is ranked second in Pennsylvania and among the top 12 percent of all Physical Therapy doctoral programs accredited by the Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education.
The program’s patient-centered curriculum is offered through both on-campus and hybrid pathways. Arcadia also offers additional physical therapy programs, including a dual degree with Public Health and post-professional options such as an Orthopaedic Residency and Musculoskeletal certificate, Transitional DPT, Sports Physical Therapy Residency, and a PhD in Movement Science.
The University also received national recognition for its Public Health program, which ties for 5th in the region and 7th in the state, and Doctor of Education program, which ties for 4th in the region and ranks 9th in the state. U.S. News & World Report did not rerank Physician Assistant programs in 2026, however, Arcadia’s program has previously been ranked as a top program in the U.S.
