Dean Cahill

Major: Bachelor of Science in Biology

Hometown: Mount Laurel, N.J.

Favorite Arcadia memory: “The biggest thing I’d say is you don’t realize how much you take for granted in person, seeing classmates and faculty members. One of my most enjoyable moments was being back on campus after being off for two years. I reconnected with people in-person, had greater appreciation for sitting in class, and participated more so than I ever did before.”

Involvement on campus: Reserve Officers’ Training Corps (ROTC) and men’s lacrosse. Dean also served as an Army medical intern in summer 2021 last year at Joint Base Lewis-McChord in Washington.

After Arcadia: Dean will be commissioned as a second lieutenant in the Pennsylvania Army National Guard and will be a military intelligence officer for the 213th Regional Support Group Headquarters and Headquarters Company stationed in Allentown, Pa. He also plans to apply to medical school or PA school after completing Military Intelligence Basic Officer’s Leadership Course (MIBOLC) at Fort Huachuca, Ariz.
