Arcadia is pleased to announce that, after a national search, Dr. Bridget Miller—an educational leader, change manager, researcher, and assessment professional with more than 10 years of leadership experience—will join the University as director of Institutional Research and Effectiveness. Effective Dec. 10, 2019, Dr. Miller will lead the Office of Institutional Research, facilitating the University’s data collection and processing, strengthening outreach in developing Arcadia’s assessment culture, and managing external reporting.

As a leader in research and assessment, Dr. Miller has served as a health policy and advocacy researcher and is a higher education assessment change-agent. Most recently, she was director of the Office of Institutional Effectiveness of Manhattan College, where she oversaw and developed the assessment culture of the campus in College, department, and student learning spaces.

“Dr. Miller’s expertise is a perfect match for Arcadia as we launch an adaptive strategy that depends on timely data-informed decisions,” said Dr. Jeff Rutenbeck, provost and Senior Vice President for Academic Affairs at Arcadia. “We are thrilled to welcome her to the team.”

Dr. Miller earned a doctorate in Educational Leadership from St. John Fisher College, and a Master of Public Administration and Bachelor of Arts in International Relations and Public Policy at Syracuse University.
