Why did you choose your particular program at Arcadia?

Arcadia was one of the few schools that offered the specific degree/certification combination that I was looking for. I also love small schools, and the campus is gorgeous!

What do you hope to accomplish during your time here?

I have met many professors and peers who challenged me to think deeply and critically about the current state of education. I have also gained access to so many resources that I’ve been able to use to better my current classroom and teaching practices.

What do you do when you’re not in class?

I am a preschool teacher, so I love exploring new things with my students and having fun! I love to craft at home when I have time, and I’m also planning my wedding for next year!

Anything else you’d like to share about yourself?

I took a spontaneous opportunity to further my education, and it has had such a huge impact. I believe everyone should strive to be lifelong learners, whether that be through higher education or just thinking critically about the world around you. As a teacher, I hope to make a difference in learners’ lives the way Arcadia educators have made a difference for me!
