Why did you choose your particular program at Arcadia?
I chose the EdD program at Arcadia primarily for its small cohort model and its practical, real-world educational programming. Having had the privilege of collaborating with the School of Education faculty and staff in my current professional setting, I’ve seen firsthand the depth of their commitment to the field. The established relationships I’ve formed with this faculty were critical to my decision, assuring me of the mentorship and support necessary to successfully complete the program.
What do you hope to accomplish during your time here?
During my time here, I hope to enhance my knowledge and refine my skills so that I can more effectively support both the students and staff I work with. My goal is to grow professionally while making a meaningful contribution to the learning environment and the school community.
What do you do when you’re not in class?
Outside of class, I enjoy spending time with my wife and our two daughters. I am also an active member of the South Philadelphia String Band, which performs annually in the Philadelphia Mummers Parade. While I am a non-playing member, I contribute by helping to design and build the props for the performance, which is a year-long process that culminates in the parade on New Year’s Day.
