Hometown: Bogotá, Colombia

Program: Hybrid Doctor of Physical Therapy

Previous Degree: Exercise Science

Why did you choose your particular program at Arcadia?

I chose Arcadia because of its innovative case-oriented curriculum and because of the flexibility that the hybrid program offers. This way, I am able to complete my degree while being able to follow my husband in case of a move with the military.

What do you hope to accomplish during your time here?

One of my main goals is to work in the performing arts once I become a physical therapist. I would love to take advantage of the clinical opportunities that Arcadia has to offer. Most importantly, I want to enjoy every step of the way and learn to love the journey from being a student to being a clinician in the real world.

What do you do when you’re not in class?

I love running in cities I have not been to before, and I love to crochet blankets. I have been a group fitness instructor for the past six years, and Zumba is still my favorite class to teach.

Anything else you’d like to share about yourself?

I truly believe that you are where you are supposed to be, even when it does not seem like it sometimes, so enjoying the journey and flowing with the unexpected makes life happier and easier. Life chose Arcadia for me, and I could not be more thankful.
