Why Arcadia? I chose Arcadia because of the small classroom environment as well as the highly regarded MPH and DPT program, especially since the DPT program has such a unique curriculum. I’ve loved being able to apply public health principles in order to emphasize the role physical therapists can play in primary prevention of chronic diseases and acute injuries by encouraging exercise and optimal movement. Additionally, physical therapy just like any other health profession is significantly affected by public health, so understanding of these concepts has been crucial to my ability to treat patients holistically and provide autonomy.

What’s next for you? Next is to finish my final clinical rotation, graduate, then hopefully make it somewhere out West.
