What do you like to do in your free time? Read, write, listen to music, watch movies, and spend time with friends and family.
What is your proudest accomplishment to date? I can’t pick one — studying abroad each year of my college career, the friendships I’ve made and maintained here at Arcadia, publishing the 12th issue of The Compass, and my thesis on the history of American patriotism.
Post-grad plans: I will work as a Legal Assistant at a local law firm back home in Connecticut for the next year. Then, law school!
At this year’s Honors Convocation, Burgon received the History Distinguished Achievement Award for a history major who has demonstrated excellence in historical studies. “Nicole has been fully dedicated to her pursuit of the highest quality in her work,” said the faculty member who nominated her. “She has not only worked hard and with great insight in the classroom, but also sought out internships and study abroad opportunities to deepen her knowledge and life experiences.
