Papay Moderates at Lehigh University’s 42nd Special Education Law Conference

Dr. Clare Papay, assistant professor of special education at Arcadia University, served as a moderator at Lehigh University’s 42nd Special Education Law Conference held on May 9, after serving on the planning committee for the conference.

The theme of the conference, “What Does Law Mean in 2014?”, encompassed a wide variety of legal topics, from “Legal Issues Pertaining to Students with Concussions and Traumatic Brain Injuries” to “Gender Identity – Legal Intersections with Students with Disabilities.” Papay moderated a session led by Thomas A. Mayes titled “Ethics for Attorneys in the Special Education Context.”
