STEM Professional Panel Featuring Alumni Exposes Students to Possible Career Paths

Arcadia University’s Math and Computer Science clubs hosted a STEM professional panel on April 4 featuring seven alumni. The alumni panelists joined students to discuss their paths to STEM careers in fields such as actuarial science, engineering, statistics, data analytics, teaching, and computer science. 

Katherine Pastva ’25, an Actuarial Science major, commented, “I thought it was super educational and loved hearing everyone’s stories about how they got to where they are today.”

Panelists included Alyssa Wittle ‘12, Nikunj Shah ‘08, Caroline Toner ‘20, Long Nguyen ‘21, Kelsey Gray ‘19, Sarah Putterman ‘97, and Yang Tan ‘18, who joined by Zoom.
