Arcadia University’s Transitional DPT Program Director Kshamata Shah, PT, PhD, and Jessica Denniston, PT, DPT, NCS, director of experiential learning, represented the University at the World Physiotherapy Congress in Dubai between June 2 and 4. With more than 2,000 attendees, the event attracted participants from throughout the world. 

Arcadia’s Physical Therapy Department had a booth in the exhibit hall where they promoted their Transitional Doctor of Physical Therapy Program. Shah said this opportunity allowed for her and Denniston to network with global physiotherapists and discuss the education landscape in different countries, in particular discuss the value of doctoral-level education.

Arcadia’s TDPT program provides a fully online experience for practicing physical therapists in a flexible 18-month program.
