Cynthia Nichols has been called a "career architect" because she is dedicated to helping students build their career plans brick-by-brick. She is the Associate Director of Career Education at Arcadia University, who also has 10 years of Human Resources experience. Her HR background provides her with a foundation for educating Arcadia’s students and alumni on the secrets of effectively navigating the career planning process, from the employers’ perspective.
In addition, Cynthia is an adjunct professor who developed a 2-credit Strategic Career Planning course. She teaches these 7-week classes, twice a semester. These career development courses empower all levels of undergraduate students in defining and achieving their professional goals.
In her spare time, she is passionate about interior design, especially the beauty of mid-century modern and Zen spaces. She also practices yoga and meditation, which help her achieve serenity for herself and a calm place to support students and alumni.
