Cynthia L. Rutherford, L.S.W., is a licensed clinical social worker who holds a Masters Degree in Social Service and a Masters Degree in Law and Social Policy from Bryn Mawr College Graduate School of Social Work and Social Research. She received her B.A. in Psychology with a minor in Women's Studies from the University of Delaware. In addition to her work here at Arcadia, she has a small private practice in Philadelphia. Prior to becoming a college counselor, Cynthia worked in several psychiatric hospitals primarily with adolescents. Particular areas of interest include mindfulness, young adulthood development, diversity issues, and working with trauma survivors.
