Dr Weiner’s primary area of literary research and teaching is American literature of the 19-21st centuries. In this area, the courses she teaches include Modern American Literature, Southern Fiction, William Faulkner, Mark Twain, and Literature of the 1960s. She also teaches courses in the Novel, 19th century Women’s Literature, Literature and the Law, Jane Austen and other topics.
She earned an A.B. in English at Mount Holyoke College, and an M.A. and a Ph.D. in English from the University of Pennsylvania.
