Mark Dean Presents at Jung Conferences

Mark Dean, adjunct professor of Visual and Performing Arts, presented two lectures at the Jung Society of Washington: “Understanding Psychological Transformation Through Imagery: A Fairytale Example,” on Oct. 4 and “Translating Jung Into Film: Gulliver’s Travels and the Individuation Process,” on Oct. 5.

Dean also presented “Image as Living Nature: Jung’s Notion of the Soul, and Gebser’s Pluralistic Vision of Consciousness” at the Gerber Jung conference from Oct. 10 to 13.
