Erin Wolf DMSc, BSN, PA-C is the Chair, Program Director and Associate Professor of the Arcadia University Physician Assistant Program. She joined Arcadia University in 2011 as an adjunct faculty member where her passion for education continued to strengthen and grow leading her to join full time in 2017. Dr. Wolf has held several positions in PA education including academic coordinator, clinical coordinator, director of admissions, and current program director since 2022.
Prior to working full-time in medical education, she practiced clinically in a fast-paced, premier orthopedic surgery practice for over 20 years and worked in student health services at Princeton University treating students in need of general medical attention and support. Among her many professional memberships, Dr. Wolf is a fellow of the American Academy of Physician Associates (AAPA), a member and serves on selected committees in the Physician Assistant Education Association (PAEA), a member of the New Jersey State Society of PA, the Pennsylvania Society of PAs (NJSSPA), PAs in Orthopedic Surgery (PAOS) and serves as a journal reviewer as well. She has presented at national conferences and participates in state and national events related to the PA profession annually.
Dr. Wolf graduated with her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from West Chester University and worked in the Main Line Health System in critical care for a few years before pursuing her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. She continued her education, receiving her Doctorate of Medical Science (DMSc) from the University of Lynchburg with a concentration in medical education and leadership. She enjoys spending time with her three children and husband and is passionate about traveling as a way to broaden her perspective through cultural experiences, trying new foods, and meeting people from diverse backgrounds. She has particated in several medical service trips to locations including Guatemala, Peru and Ecuador and has received grant funds to support outreach efforts to community members in need. Additionally, she participates in community outreach efforts via the that introduce and inspire youth to learn more about the Physician Assistant profession and careers in healthcare.
