About the Arcadia Center for East African Studies
The Arcadia Center for East African Studies was established by Arcadia University in 2008. This undergraduate Center is housed in the Nyerere Centre for Peace Research, a research and training facility established jointly by Arcadia University and the
East African Community. Students have access to the Nyerere Centre's computer lab and academic resources. The Nyerere Centre is adjacent to the Arusha International Conference Center, which hosts the UN International Criminal Tribunal for Rwanda, the EAC, and many other international development organizations.
