You may apply online or download a pdf application.

The application process accomplishes two things.  It helps you define your goals for your time abroad, and it enables us to help you achieve those goals.

First Steps

Several things to keep in mind as you start the process are: 

• Obtain approval to study abroad before applying (at most universities, this means getting a signature from your study abroad advisor, academic advisor, dean or department head). 
  
  
• Be aware of your institution's policies and deadlines, they may vary from Arcadia's (view deadlines). 
  
  
• Transcripts and references may take some time to collect, so start early! 
  
  
• Note: there is no application fee if you apply online. PDF applications ("paper") require a $50 application fee.

Additional Materials

• Some programs require additional application materials such as résumés or portfolios of your work. 
  
  
• Let us know about any special needs including course requirements, physical or learning disabilities, or possible schedule conflicts as soon as possible.  Your disclosure won't affect your acceptance to a program, it will simply allow us to improve our ability to meet your needs. 
  
  
• Many programs require a course selection form to complete the application. After you submit your application, you will be provided with an Arcadia Student ID, which you can use to log in and complete this form online. The required forms are unique to each program and  are available at www.arcadia.edu/abroad/forms.
