Study Abroad with the Scottish Parliamentary Program
"As I walked through the new Parliament building and spoke with people I had only seen on television, I knew this was the opportunity of a lifetime."
-Joseph Speaker, Villanova University student and Scottish Parliamentary program participant
- The University of Edinburgh's Scottish Parliamentary Program offers study abroad students a unique opportunity to help make history by working with members of the Scottish Parliament, which re-opened in 1999 after its suspension in 1707.
- This is an unparalleled practical and academic experience for students of government, law, politics, history, economics or sociology.
- A summer program is also available.
This program enables you to immerse yourself in the culture, history and politics of Scotland and the United Kingdom through engaging academic courses and the opportunity to complete significant research under the direction of a member of the Scottish Parliament.
