Another attractive feature of NUI Galway is the academic calendar, which offers a full 12-week teaching semester in both the fall and the spring. You can expect to complete five or six courses per semester to equal a full-time course load.  

The picturesque campus is a mere 10-15 minute walk or ride from the center of Galway. Considered a university city, Galway provides an excellent backdrop for your study abroad experience. Credits

Courses may be selected among various departments. You will earn the following hours of credit:

• Fall and spring semester: 15 credits.
• Academic year: 30 credits.  

Admission Requirements

GPA Requirements: 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.

You must be in good academic standing and not on disciplinary probation. You need to submit a complete application including a transcript, letter of recommendation, and an advisor's form before your application will be considered.
