Fazio ’26 Brings Theater-Inspired Vision to Senior Capstone

Isaiah Fazio ’26 created a theater-inspired music video for his Senior Capstone project, blending his passions for media, performance, and storytelling.
The Media and Communication major with a Theater minor from North Wales, Pa., collaborated with fellow students and drew on skills he has built both on campus and abroad to produce the video.
“The music video was more of a visual project,” Fazio said. “I wasn’t singing, but filming at the Black Box Theater with help, along with adding a lot of visuals, helped me imagine the music video being theater-inspired.”
Through directing and producing the project, Fazio said he has gained hands-on experience that aligns with his long-term career goals.
“I want to become an actor and director one day,” he said. “Promoting this piece also was fun to do by posting on social media and putting up flyers. And the filming and visuals helped me a lot. I think this all blends perfectly with the two.”
Fazio said his creative work has been influenced by his time studying abroad in London during the fall semester, where he lived independently for the first time and gained professional experience as an intern with The Space Theatre.
“I also would love to manage social media to help companies grow,” he said. “It’s one thing that I have learned to do in London during my internship.”
Traveling overseas also meant stepping outside of his comfort zone.
“I personally have a huge fear of flying, but it honestly wasn’t so bad,” Fazio said. “I’ve flown before to Costa Rica, California, and Florida. And London was the first across the seas. And I also hate huge open bodies of water. So I finally felt accomplished overcoming such a challenge.”
As he looks toward graduation, Fazio said he is open to wherever his path may lead, while staying focused on his creative ambitions. He encourages future students to embrace the opportunities available to them.
“You won’t regret your stay at Arcadia,” he said. “This University is growing every day, and I’m witnessing its fast growth.”
