Jacob Mann ’26

Hometown: Vernon, N.J.

Major: Business Administration

What have you been involved in at Arcadia outside of your classes?

I have been involved in Men’s Lacrosse, the Honors Program, serving as an Honors Mentor, the Honors Advisory Council, and the Student Government Organization as Treasurer. I also participated in a Global Field Study to Germany and France.

What is your proudest accomplishment to date?

My proudest accomplishment has been identifying inefficiencies in the legacy budgeting process and, with help from others, designing a new framework that was more accessible and efficient.

What is a challenge you’ve had to overcome to get to this point?

The biggest challenge I had to overcome was not knowing what I wanted to do. I started as a Biology major and quickly realized that my extensive focus on biology in high school had caused me to grow a distaste for it. I switched paths to business, which was completely new to me because I had never taken business classes before, so I had to adapt quickly.

What has been your favorite memory at Arcadia?

My favorite memory at Arcadia has been meeting some of my best friends and my beautiful girlfriend.

What are some things you’re hoping to do after graduating?

I plan to get a job in business continuity and/or operational risk management.
