By Christopher Sarachilli | September 18, 2015

Runners of all ages and abilities are invited to attend “Running from Pain: Inevitable or Avoidable?” on Thursday, Sept. 24. The event, run in conjunction with the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s Team in Training, is scheduled from 6:45 to 7:45 p.m on Arcadia’s campus.

Led by Brian Eckenrode, PT, DPT, OCS, assistant professor of Physical Therapy, the seminar will show how to ensure a relatively pain-free running experience for those who suffer while exercising. Dr. Eckenrode is a board-certified Orthopaedic Clinical Specialist; his current research focuses on Achilles tendon pain in runners and injury prevention techniques.

The event includes a lecture, interactive demonstration, and a Q&A. Space will be limited, so please RSVP via the online form.
