Designed to help new Knights connect, celebrate, and jump into campus life, this week is filled with opportunities to meet new friends, explore campus traditions, and experience the Arcadia community before the semester begins. From high-energy events and late-night activities to community service projects and campus celebrations, Fall Welcome Week helps students feel at home from the moment they arrive.

Is Fall Welcome Week mandatory?
Yes, as all new students are encouraged to have the best possible experience and gather as much information as possible before classes begin. Transfer students, who may have additional commitments, will receive communication that clearly outlines which sessions are required and which are optional.
What can I expect during Fall Welcome Week?
During Fall Welcome Week, students are introduced to life at Arcadia through a variety of experiences designed to support their success. They will connect with classmates, learn more about their major, and meet their First-Year Seminar Peer Mentors. The week includes signature events such as Convocation, along with sessions led by campus partners including Student Health Services, Civic & Global Engagement, and Student Success. Students will also participate in a community service project and have the opportunity to attend Late Knight programs such as Drag Bingo, a Castle Dance Party, and off-campus excursions.

Where do I go to check in for Fall Welcome Week?
Residential Students:
To receive your room key and check-in materials, you can check in at Kuch Gymnasium on Wednesday, August 26th from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Commuter Students:
To receive your check-in materials, you can check in at The Commons on Thursday, August 27th from 8 a.m. to 9 a.m.
