Knights Networking Series

The Office of Career Education coordinates the Knights Networking Series. These events are industry based and will allow students to network with various employers that are specific to their career interests. Each networking event will feature approximately 15-20 employers and will begin with each employer giving a 45-second fast pitch to the students about their organization and their hiring needs (also called an "employer slam"). After each organization has completed their pitch, we will offer a networking reception where students and organizations can learn more about one another. Those students who sign-up in advance with their résumés through Handshake will have their résumés included in an electronic packet that will be distributed to all employers. At the event, employers will have the chance to talk to students about their company culture and what their organization looks for when they interview students. It's a great way for companies to establish their brand on campus and get their name out there.
