Bachelor of Arts in History
Collections manager at the Smithsonian National Museum of American History (Washington, D.C.)
My Arcadia experience has influenced every aspect of my life for the better, without question. I met my wonderful fiancé, Alessandro Russo ’09, at Arcadia, and I gained the best friend, inspiration, and personal cheerleader one could ever have in my college roommate, Emily Scott ’09. Arcadia was such a safe environment to just be a good person. It was okay to be kind and open-minded. It gave me the confidence to go out into the world and be socially conscious and engaged.
A well-written cover letter and formatted résumé is invaluable. If you can get a face-to-face interview, then you’ve got your foot in the door. Use Arcadia’s services to help you write your résumé. Also, it’s important to know what you don’t like to do in your field of choice as much as what you like to do. Accept different internships to find your interests."
