High School Math Contest at Arcadia University

Are you interested in mathematics? Do you enjoy solving tough problems? Would you like to meet other local students who share these interests? Join the fun at Arcadia's Math Contest for high school students! You'll have the chance to compete for prizes, enjoy some pizza, and do a little math.

The contest is open to all high school students in grades 9-12 but students must register in advance using the form below. Students will participate in an individual contest followed by a team contest. Prizes are awarded to the top scoring individuals from each grade level and to the top scoring team. Students can form teams of 4-5 students with their friends and classmates or be placed onto teams with other students at the contest. The content is generally accessible to students who have completed math courses up through algebra I and geometry with a limited number (if any) questions from precalculus and calculus. No calculators are allowed.

The contest takes place on Arcadia University's campus and begins with the individual contest in the Calhoun Amphitheater in Boyer Hall. The team contest is next, followed by pizza which will be provided for lunch. Questions can be directed to Emily Marshall at marshalle@arcadia.edu.
