Jun received a degree of Doctor of Philosophy in Sport Management from Florida State University in 2013. His works have been published in academic journals such as Journal of Sport Management, Sport Management Review, etc., and presented at academic conferences, such as North American Society for Sport Management, Sport Marketing Association, etc. His research interests include sport consumer behavior and sports analytics.
