Dr. Meg Nolan, Ed.D. has been teaching in AU's School of Global Business for over 10 years in the undergraduate and MBA programs. She earned a Doctorate Degree in Educational Leadership from Arcadia University (2020), a Master’s Degree in Human Resources Management (1996) and Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration (1993) from Temple University. She has over 20 years combined experience in higher education teaching, course development, human resources management consulting, and delivery of professional leadership, management, and human resources training programs. Her research interests include cultural intelligence, experiential learning, and short-term international travel experiential learning programs. Her publications include: “Short-term international experience (SITE) as a learning model for international education” (Nolan & Kurthakoti, 2019) in The Palgrave Handbook of Learning and Teaching International Business and Management, and “Experience matters: The differential impact of pedagogy on cultural intelligence” (Nolan & Kurthakoti, 2017) in The Journal of Higher Education Theory and Practice. Her areas of teaching include Management, Human Resources Management, International Organizational Behavior, and Leadership. She has co-led several short-term international programs to Europe, Asia, Caribbean, and Central America. She also volunteers with a non-profit educational leadership program in El Salvador, Central America.
