Friday, October 12, 2018

Classroom Visits, 8:00 am to 2:45 pm

Attend classes with your students and observe firsthand the academic stimulation they experience every day. To arrange your visit, ask your student to clear it with their professor, and then just show up for class!

Visit the Templeton Campus Store, 9:00 am to 4:00 pm

Stop by the Dining Complex, lower level, to get some Arcadia gear at the Campus Store!

SPB Variety Presents: Magician Trent James, 8:00 pm

University Commons, Great Room 

Comedy magician Trent James is bringing a fresh new feel to the “classic magic show”. Trent’s high-energy performance combines mind-boggling magic with gut busting humor that has earned rave reviews in 17 states. Trent is quickly becoming one of the top magicians in the country. The Arcadia University Parent & Family Network provides informational programs and social activities, and serves as a communication link between families and the University administration. This session provides an opportunity to meet key campus administrators, as well as for sharing questions and answers between families on all aspects of college life.

Tour the Grey Towers: A Great American Castle, 10:00, 10:30, 11:00, and 11:30 am

Tours begin at the Grey Towers Castle Terrace

Explore the mystery, history, and fantasy of the Castle. Members of the Society for Castle Restoration (SCR) will take you on an exploration which reveals the story behind the Castle.

Fall Fest Carnival and Picnic Lunch, 11:00 am to 2:00 pm

Join faculty, staff, new and current students, and friends for the Fall Fest Carnival hosted by Arcadia's student organizations. Fun foods, crafts, and activities are available for guests of all ages!

Late Knight Glow Mini-Golf, 8:00 pm to midnight

University Commons, Great Room

Enjoy a fun night of Cosmic Miniature Golf with your student. Special florescent golf balls, putters, course obstacles, and wall décor all glow under black lights. The florescent-glow of the course creates a “one-of-a-kind” miniature golf experience. Make sure to grab a scorecard and pencil so you know who is the greatest mini golfer in your group. Sponsored by Arcadia Late Knights. No advance registration is required.
