Johnson ’26DPT Recognized for Fearlessness by Fellow Doctor of Physical Therapy Student

For 2026 Doctor of Physical Therapy student Jailynn Fache’ Johnson, receiving a Knight Code of Honor recognition for demonstrating fearlessness was an admirable personal feat.
“I was extremely grateful and surprised when I read the email,” Johnson said. “Being recognized for demonstrating fearlessness meant a lot to me, especially because I’ve had to confront many fears while navigating graduate school. This recognition made me realize that, while I still have fears to overcome, the challenges I’ve faced head-on have been noticed by others. This achievement reminds me that I am capable of doing hard things, and it motivates me to continue setting ambitious goals for myself.”
The Baton Rouge, La., native and Louisiana State University alum was nominated by another member of her Hybrid DPT 2026 cohort, who wrote, “You’ve had to overcome and deal with so much as the co-president of our cohort! You’ve stayed true to yourself and demonstrated integrity and excellence this year!”
“The Knight Code of Honor serves as the heart of the Arcadia community, but it also personally inspires me to grow and show up as my best self,” Johnson said. “It reminds me to approach challenges with fearlessness, uphold excellence, and lead with integrity. These values not only shape my academic journey, but also who I strive to be every day.”
Outside of her classes, Johnson is a part of the American Physical Therapy Association, the co-president of the Student Physical Therapy Association, and a member of the Iota Zeta Chapter of Tri-Alpha, an honor society for first-generation students.

Arcadia’s Knight Code of Honor recognizes students for demonstrating Lived Values that represent an equitable, inclusive, and diverse community.
“People should consider submitting a fellow Knight who exhibits the Knight Code of Honor because it motivates the nominee and others to continue upholding the values of our University,” Johnson said. “It illustrates the difference that demonstrating these Lived Values makes on others in and around the community.”
