Strategic Planning Committee Welcomes Feedback on Five Themes

Planning Committee Co-Chairs Dr. Steve Michael, Provost, and Dr. Theresa Rollins, Trustee, are pleased to announce the emergence of five themes culminating from the Strategic Planning process. Upon compiling and reviewing survey data, interviews, open session feedback and committee meetings, the Planning Committee worked in small and large groups to further develop the strategic goals and objectives from the themes.

Submit Comments Electronically

In addition to attending the sessions on campus, you are invited to submit comments electronically. Comments will be posted on MyArcadia under the Strategic Planning tab. The Planning Committee will revise the current draft of the themes after reviewing the community input from the electronic comments and on-campus discussions. We hope to distribute a revised draft of the Strategic Plan by Friday May 3, 2013. There will be opportunities to comment on the revised draft on campus and electronically. Draft Working Themes

Working Theme 1: Enhancing academic excellence and globally-engaged learning. Comment on Theme 1.

Working Theme 2: Strengthening a people-focused University community. Comment on Theme 2.

Working Theme 3: Partnering with the Arcadia University stakeholders to enhance and deepen career preparation, scholarship, and volunteerism/community engagement. Comment on Theme 3.

Working Theme 4: Develop and adopt agile mission-driven resource allocation planning and fiscal management practices that will ensure financial viability and empower informed decisions. Comment on Theme 4.

Working Theme 5: Supporting the continued globalization of a diverse university community. Comment on Theme 5.
